Adjustment of rent on commercial lease agreements in Greece

The issue of rent adjustment in commercial leases based on CPI is major, due to steadily rising inflation; hence the Greek legislator has adopted a special provision to impose a 3% threshold on the adjustment of rents for 2022, which is discussed along with the provisions of the Greek Civil Code on adjustment due to extraordinary or special circumstances.
